Backpacking Event
Every year, Youth Court is involved in a backpacking event to help other peers that are not able to get supplies for the new year. This event is able to help K-12 students, while also getting more involved in the community
9-11 Memorial
Youth Court was proud to be apart of a memorial commemorating the lives lost that day. All the volunteer attorneys listed off one-by-one a life lost that day.
Annual Lunar Bowl
Both Eastern Jackson County and Independence host a fundraiser at Lunar Bowl in Blue Springs to bring family and friends together, before the new school year.
Senior Plaques
In 2022, there were two seniors at Independence presented with both plaques and scholarships. These two young ladies have been apart of Youth Court since their freshman year. Both Brennah and Myia after graduating are still volunteering their time to Youth Court.
